WELCOME TO ARIPEX

Stamp Show

Tucson Convention Center, 260 S. Church Street, Tucson, Arizona

The ARIPEX stamp show is entering its 49th consecutive year. The show alternates
each year between Tucson and Mesa, Arizona. The show is referred to as an APS Champion
of Champions show. It earns this distinction by being a life member of the American
Philatelic Society and meeting special criteria. Exhibitors at this show compete for
the highest honors you can receive in the United States through the APS. With that
said, you can expect to see some of the best exhibits in the world here. Please make
time to enjoy the fine exhibits.

Youth play an important role in philately. Without young members, the hobby might die.
ARIPEX is proud to be the only show in the Western United States to bring in children
from all over Arizona to participate in the show. The United States Postal Service
brings in a huge array of computers, gaming, and stamps to help teach youngsters about
the hobby and to help teachers educate through stamps. If you come to the show on Friday
you might be amazed at the nearly 1,000 children who will pack into the Convention Center.

This year marks the third year that children from India will participate in exhibits and
visit the show. The youngsters compete all over India and the best are chosen to visit and
compete at ARIPEX.

Dealers from all over the United States and a few foreignors attend ARIPEX for the weather,
hospitality, and chance to bring customers to thier tables. The ARIPEX committee recognizes
that without dealers there could be no show. Only the finest dealers are accepted to ARIPEX
so please take some time to visit with as many as possible.

Finally, we welcome you and hope you make it to more than just one day at the show. We have
an excellent rapport with the Tucson Convention and Visitors Bureau. They will help you
find fun and exciting things to do before, during, and after the show. Stop by their booth
for more information. If you have any questions at all about the show that is not answered
here, please feel free to contact one of the committee members.
